Maisy is recovering from an accident she had about a month ago while traveling with my wife.  She lost a toenail on a back leg, she just now walking without the bandage.  But now she tries to chew the wound so she has to be a conehead:

She doesn't really adjust well to it, my wife says she just sits and looks at her for an hour.

In the past week or so I've been looking through some old photos. I was trying to find some photos of a visit to Paris for a friend of mine. When I found this...this is me from about 10-15 years ago. I can't put an exact time on it, but it was taken in the porch of my parents. My mum took the photo and I think I can remember her saying "Can you brush the hair out of your face/eyes for a moment, while I take the photo" ;D #ThrowbackMonty ::)

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

This discrimination has to stop

Kelowna has been socked in by smoke (from forest fires) for the last couple of weeks, but the wind picked up yesterday and the air mostly cleared. It's not perfect yet but you could hardly see across the lake standing on the shore before.
