If he hated them, they wouldn't be on the list, now would they?

What is that, logic? It has no place on the internet, thank you very much.

Blast it, thwarted again.

When does school start? I need logic, I need it!

What the hell you hate 25th Hour and high Fidelity!

I remember 25th Hour getting mostly mixed opinions when it was released.  It's the one I see with the most beneficial revisionist criticism from the decade.  At the time, the 9/11 references felt forced and hammered into the script, but now those images bring up some of the greatest praise.  I didn't like the PSH storyline and I remember something really bothered my about Rosario Dawson's character.  Overall I only liked parts of it, but with all the high praise coming out these past few months, I'm excited to see it again.

As for High Fidelity, I'm not a fan of John Cusack.  He's so laid back I wonder why he bothered showing up to work.  And I really thought Tim Robbins was a collection of poor creative decisions.  This film has always been my biggest unpopular opinion on the boards.  But I've only seen it once.

I would only apply the word 'hate' towards Morvern Callar.  I remember thinking it was illogically written, poorly directed, badly shot.

Now I'm imagining 1SO as Assistant Director one day, yelling at John Cusack for being slack.  :)

Cool marathon 1SO.  One question, I thought you already watched Together, how come its in the 'never seen' column?  Just a mistake or did you put it there cause you can't recall it at all?
I’ve lied to men who wear belts. I’ve lied to men who wear suspenders. But I’d never be so stupid as to lie to a man who wears both a belt and suspenders.

It's listed on my Films of 2001, so I guess I saw it in the theaters.  And there are things about it that are familiar to me.  But very little has stuck in my brain so I see this as a fresh experience.
