omg, everyone is doing it! I might do it too (since I've never read the books or seen past the first two movies).

Alright, so I was thinking about the timetable today at work. How does two weeks per book/movie sound for everyone? I know people have lives and some of us (me included) are not always the fastest readers either, though the books do go by rather fast anyway. This would put us done witht he seventh book about a month before the release of part 1 of book 7. I think we will probably have a week or two here or there where we may have to extend the deadline for it, but then that should put us on a nice schedule there. Here is what I was thinking, giving Monday as the first day in the two week period:

Sunday, July 25: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philospher's Stone
Sunday, August 8: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Sunday, August 22: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban
Sunday, September 5: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Sunday, September 19: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Sunday, October 3: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Sunday, October 17: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (obviously the movie doesn't come out until November 19)

So for the last one we could either keep to the deadline and just do the book and then anticipation for the film, or like I said, with extensions push it back to its true release date to include the movie too.

What does everybody think? This format? Or should we do it whenever ech person is ready just post and then keep an index in the first post? Or something more intensive than every two weeks?

I'll join for book 7, I've gotta re-read it anyway. :)
I guess if I'm only doing one of these I'm not part for the marathon really. ;)

Well I'll just read what you all have to say.
