Top 10 of 2010 so far!!! At TheReelists!

I'll read that article now. I haven't been to your site in a little bit. I really like it, but time has prevented me from visiting most of my favourite blogs and sites for a couple weeks now. I'll probably leave a comment as well, either praising or thrashing your list.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

And here it is. The final word on lens flares at the movies. Well, the final 2150 words. Yeah that's right, I devoted 2150 words to the topic of lens flares. Deal with it. Or just read it, over at TheReelists.com!

Lens flares are more important anyway.

Minority Report review.

I think the main reason you can't have the downer ending in Minority Report is it would completely undercut the moral of the story.

I see what you mean and it makes sense, I just like the thought of Spielberg pulling the rug from underneath the feet of the audience. Also, while the moral of the story works fine given how it all ends, the real world often tells us that 'morals' and happy solutions don't always apply in 'the system', so I think using the sadder ending actually would have worked too. Yes, yes, 'it's a movie, not reality'...I know that, I'm just saying the potential was there. I see the downer ending as a message of 'If we don't wise up now, look at the crazy shit we'll be doing later on.'
