I rip into my co-host pretty hard when he names his #4 film of the year....  But come on!
Is it RED?  ;D

Ugh, that would have been an improvement.  No, Morning Glory.  Let's just say he's the mainstream, everyman, rom-com guy on the show.

After we come back from the last break, it occurred to me that neither of them listed The King's Speech.  That set me off again, and I went down their lists, ticking off all of their films that I feel King's Speech was better than.  Fun stuff!

Ugh is right. Morning Glory was in my bottom five.

Apologies to those who found the review confusing. I wrote it without looking up the names of the characters (I sometimes do that and insert random words, letters or names as temporary substitutes) and actually forgot to look up the proper names before posting the review. For about half an hour the article had fake names for the two principles characters. Again, sorry.

That is my favorite review from Between the Seats.  It's the only 2011 film I've seen and your review points up what I love most about it.  I Saw the Devil may ultimately be a "love it or hate it" film, but it brings up a lot of questions.  It's a film that's good to discuss.  I've seen it twice and your review makes me want to watch it again.  See what I get out of it this time.

Wow, thank you. I'm thrilled that you check in regularly.

Your comment about that review in particular is very high praise. I don't know what I consider to be my 'best work' so far. Never put much thought into it...

Yeah, it most certainly has re-watch points. Of course, I actually want to pay to see it at some point, whether at the cinema or on Blu-ray.

Great review for a fascinating movie.  I am similarly reluctant to recommend this film to others.
I’ve lied to men who wear belts. I’ve lied to men who wear suspenders. But I’d never be so stupid as to lie to a man who wears both a belt and suspenders.
