It has arrived! The first ever Reelists Interview.

Last week I got the chance to speak with Bobby Jaffe from Prime Focus about their 3D conversions of the Star Wars films. It's a long interview, but I think it's a pretty good one. Come on and check it out!

Safe in the Woods.

I wish that branch wasn't there but this is a pretty great shot anyways. I fixed the branch problem. Hooray me!

Shootout At High Noon Marathon: Review: The Wild Bunch (Director's Cut, 1969)

Nice job on this review.  The Wild Bunch is a tricky film because it has some flaws but also is an extremely visceral experience. A good example is the laughing, which I believe Peckinpah extends to a ridiculous extent purposely to get a sharp reaction from the viewers. I also remember squirming in my seat during these scenes, but I think this is exactly what he's trying to invoke.

All Systems Go!!!

I made a lot of changes to my blog recently, I think I made it much easier for people to navigate, improved the look and functionality of the site and basically made it easier to use. The above post breaks down all the changes I made.

The best comedy show on TV and also a pretty good picture.

The best comedy show on TV...

I don't even watch Community yet I know what you say is wrong.

(Pic is nice. Like the detail you get off the sign.)

Thanks! Really it probably wavers on a week by week basis which one is better. But that's not quite as snappy as "the best".

One of these shows is worthy of the title Junior brought up, and the other show is Community...

I can't watch anything with Amy Poehler in it. She's the 00's SNL version of Melanie Hutsell.
