Weird? I think it's epic.

A single one-inch tall toad against the world with only its mating prowess and ability to make its throat huge to propel him past the hoards.

Going with the Frank Capra theme from earlier in the week, here's my review of State of the Union, another movie about politics from Capra:

Red Lines.

Wait! Are the lines the red parts or the black parts?!?!? My world is shaken to the core.

Just completed an interview with Mike Goldblach, the director of Daydream Nation. I think it went really well, and Im hoping to get it, as well as a review of the film, posted tomorrow evening. So keep an eye out for that (or an ear, I'll likely be posting it in audio form).

I did. The internet needs this column. An entire genre going uncritiqued.

That was my main reason for giving the column a go Chuck. There's an insane amount of podcasts out there, and even when narrowing it down to just film related podcasts there's still an out of control number. I'm not an expert or anything, but I did want to allow people to experience what I do as I separate the wheat from the chaff so to speak, because really there's nobody else out there saying which film podcasts are worth your time and which ones are a waste of time.

I love Steve's comment.

So did I. :)
