I wrote a thing about how The Witch and The Fits would make for a good double feature. No spoilers, though I would be interested in perhaps discussing the endings of both of these films for their similarities and differences.

Now that I've seen The Fits I read your article, and agree. In fact, you've raised my opinion of The Fits, which surprised me with its obtuse storytelling. (Thank heavens for short run times in a case like this.)

Thanks, friends. I agree, The Fits benefits from such a short runtime. Don't know if it could sustain much longer, but at its current length I love the crap outta it.

Oh, and I guess I gotta read Walden at some point, eh?

Nope. It's indulgent self-righteous unsophisticated nonsense. Not to mention, it reeks of hypocrisy.

I wrote a longer thing about A Cure for Wellness. A much more scathing review, after further contemplation. http://www.horrorhomeroom.com/eels-best-thing-cure-wellness/

I wrote about my favorite films from 2016 finally. http://processedgrass.blogspot.com/2017/02/taking-on-2016-top-films.html

Also, don't read Walden.

My fiancée and I have started a new blog, We Cook Stuff, documenting our experiences in the kitchen as we cook for each other.
I just remembered how much I enjoyed this. Marshmallow Cupcakes sounds wonderful. Also Sloppy Joes and Sexed Up Beans

Thanks! There's been some talk of possibly reviving it. We've been mostly cooking either Hello Fresh or familiar meals that we've already blogged about, but we're starting to experiment again. In fact, I was just about to go looking for a salmon dill risotto recipe.

Letterboxd has all but dissipated my desire to blog about film - especially longer stuff - but everyone once in a while I feel the urge indulge ... It took me a second viewing to get my arms around the endgame and come to A (Self-Conscious, Self-Righteous) Appreciation of Get Out (2017).

I haven't been writing as much lately, but I've ramped it up a bit lately on the site. It's been fun. This week, I wrote possibly the 10,000th review of Wonder Woman.
