Apparently I haven't seen a single film from 1933.

Sdedalus hurts my cine-ego.  I haven't seen half that many films from that entire decade!

If it had Ginger Rogers, it was 1933.  Also "We're in the Money" and Busby Berkeley's Expressionist Depression sequence "Remember My Forgotten Man".
