I barely avoided having to ask who that was. No, he won't be making my list. Not even close.
Yea, bondo is definitely the SSM.

You should be judged very harshly if you don't include Leone.
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.

What's the deadline for this? I feel like I read it on here once, but now I can't seem to find it.

Thanks. In others news, I'm trying to figure out which are the most pressing watches that I need to get to before the deadline. I want to 1) find good movies that are remaining from directors likely to make my list and 2) have a good sample size for each directors. If people can suggest / rank five or ten of the following films that I have / can stream, I would appreciate it.

I Confess (Alfred Hitchcock - 28 films seen)
The Color Purple (Steven Spielberg - 19 films seen)
Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (Martin Scorsese - 18 films seen)
The Lower Depths (Akira Kurosawa - 14 films seen)
The Little Foxes (William Wyler - 11 films seen)
Killer's Kiss (Stanley Kubrick - 10 films seen)
My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done (Werner Herzog - 10 films seen)
Deconstructing Harry (Woody Allen - 9 films seen)
The Quiet Man (John Ford - 8 films seen)
The Long Voyage Home (John Ford - 8 films seen)
The Seven Year Itch (Billy Wilder - 8 films seen)
Avanti! (Billy Wilder - 8 films seen)
Late Autumn (Yasujiro Ozu - 8 films seen)
There Was a Father (Yasujiro Ozu - 8 films seen)
Doctor Zhivago (David Lean - 7 films seen)
Cries and Whispers (Ingmar Bergman - 7 films seen)
A Face in the Crowd (Elia Kazan - 7 films seen)
The Cameraman (Buster Keaton - 7 films seen)
Limelight (Charlie Chaplin - 7 films seen)

Eh, it's not great and it's certainly lesser Wilder, but it's still a good film, Monroe is excellent as always and it has a harshness to it that is appreciated.

But that Tom Ewell is awful- and he is just as off-putting in Adam's Rib. But you are right about Monroe, drool, drool and such heart.

Also there are some other Wilder films that I really disliked (and he is my number 2 director that's how much I love his other films) but are in people's top 100s- Sabrina and Witness for the Prosecution. I'm not saying anyone's wrong though, this diversity of taste is why I spend time on the forum.
