Is My Girl Friday the sequel to His Girl Friday? :D

Umm... yeah, and umm made the same year.  They must have filmed them together.   :-[

EDIT: I don't know what you're talking about....

Just went through my list from last year. Added about 7, definitively removed 5. I'm glad I have 5 weeks to move the rest around. It's amazing how much things change in one year.

I feel my top 100 was inadequate. It will be redone.

So, are we meant to be listing our favourite 100 films, or the best 100 films (in our own opinion) - because these are two very different lists.

One list leaves off Back to the Future because it isn't my favourite, and the other leaves off Back to the Future because it isn't an example of perfect film making  ;D

I have narrowed it down to 143 films. Now it is time to rank 'em.

It's a mix of both for me, and I'm not always (never?) able to distinguish between what "best" and "favorite" means. My #1 film, for example, It's a Wonderful Life. Do I think it's the best film ever made? Mmmm, no, I wouldn't make that claim, but I do think it's really, really, really good and I love it with all my heart. Also, there are films that I acknowledge to be great, but I don't love them, so they won't make my list.

I claim it's one of the ten most exquisitely crafted films of all time.  :)
