Wow I am unusually thrilled to be quoted on this list.

I am, however, shamed because I am quoted on The 400 Blows and it isn't in my top 100. I saw it after I submitted my list.

I promise it will be high on next year's list, if I can stand to remove what is already on there- how about top 200 next year so us wimps don't have to make a decision and leave a beloved film out?

Ugh, ugh, #26 is a big ugh. To keep a current argument going, a vastly superior WWII film that prominently features Hitler in the form of Downfall would have been a better option. Still, good list, I'm not actually complaining about the list.

But when it is good it is very very good. My question would be, do you think Tarantino would think IB is a better film than Reservoir Dogs? Personally I can't believe he would but I respect the consensus which obviously thinks this is better.

I agree and IB is a great movie.  One of my recent favorites, but there are so many better films already on this list. I chalk it up to newer film geeks who still have to watch a lot of the older films.

I don't think it's ever good, nor do I ever think Reservoir Dogs is good, so I'm not the person to answer that question.

Nope, I like True Romance but that's mainly because he didn't direct it. I also like his portion of Sin City. Otherwise, nope, I don't like a single film I've seen from him, he just doesn't do it for me.

I'll have you know that my high acclaim for Inglourious Basterds has little to do with the number of films I've seen. It is an extraordinary movie, and though there are plenty of films better than it already on the list, it is still totally in my own Top 100.
