As someone who placed Lost Highway in their top 5 films of all time, I am cockahoop at this string of positive verdicts. The Thin Red Line is probably also one of the best war films I've ever seen, so I feel bad about it not getting more discussion though. However, I feel we've barely scratched the surface on all that Lost Highway has to offer, so I am really looking forward to that being brought out in its inevitable defeat to that massively overrated Sodaberg film.
Wanting for Thor what Thor wants for Thor.

I'm kind of surprised TTRL has gone 0 for 4, I thought Filmspotters were snottier than that.  :)

Or time for you to see Lost Highway, a movie so great it makes Malick look bad by comparison!  ;D

(I've never seen it.)

For some odd reason I looked at this thread again. You people are terribly cruel sometimes.

I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now.

I love Lynch, but Lost Highway over TTRL is pure insanity.  Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, Mulholland Dr, Elephant Man, Inland Empire... then I'd understand.  But Lost Highway?  Insanity.

At least it wasn't Wild at Heart.
