Well, assuming GC wasn't going to resurrect either of those two, he could still select his resurrections and you could have yours work for Major League in the event it goes down. Maybe this is just my way of saying I'd rather save Major League (though I'm more connected to the second film, not because it is better but because I watched it many more times and it may be funnier) :)

Love Streams, Eight Men Out, The Decline of Western Civilization, and Purple Rain are now eligible for round one resurrection. The only other film that might be eligible is Major League, depending on how it fares against Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.

The following round one films won't be eligible for resurrection until after round two: Tough Guys Don't Dance, For All Mankind, Predator, Aliens, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Landscape Suicide, Starman, Under the Volcano, and Hollywood Shuffle.

I've updated the list in the first post of this thread.

Do you know, I really don't understand this at all. How very very sad.  :-\
Can I just watch another film or two? Please?

Okay, GothamCity151, you're up. Time to resurrect your two films. Also, for your #1 resurrection priority, you get to decide which of the nine brackets you want to place it in. Take a look at the bracket and let me know. Your resurrected film would go where you see one of the [TBD] placeholders (the last film in each bracket). You can base your choice on what makes for the best round one matchup, what gives your resurrected film the easiest path to the finals, or whatever.

So I'll resurrect A Christmas Story.

Yay!  Nice pick.

I have made my decisions.

For my #2 pick, I will be resurrecting Martin Scorsese's The King Of Comedy.
For my #1 pick, I will be resurrecting Charles Crichton's A Fish Called Wanda, which will face Tough Guys Don't Dance in its matchup.

Cool, only two steps left:

Bondo, which bracket do you want to place Three Amigos in?

smirnoff, which bracket do you want to place Altered States in?  (Bondo has first choice.)

(The remaining resurrected films will be assigned bracket at random.)

A Christmas Story, eh? matt will be happy. flieger will be perplexed.

So many films put out of their misery and yet back they come, unwilling to cross to the other side.
