Stranger Than Paradise also is on the original list without being in a pairing as far as I can tell.

I'd included that one above already. Stranger Than Paradise and Major League were set to face films that were later deemed ineligible (Bad Timing and Bagdad Cafe, iirc).

Yeah, realized this and couldn't delete my post fast enough. So I think we've got that all sorted. Downside for resurrections is they don't get a free pass to the second round, though I wouldn't say those 9 unpaired films would be distinctly favored on average.

1. Ghostbusters
2. Clue
3. A Fish Called Wanda
4. Batman
5. Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade
6. The King Of Comedy
7. Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan
8. Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Also, what does this mean:

2. GothamCity151 — Random Resurrection (The Big Red One vs. Vernon, Florida) — 1 Day

Through random selection you earned a second resurrection. Good thing you've got good taste in movies. :)

I'll use this to resurrect Amadeus.

Cool ... though the consensus resurrections come first, so Amadeus might already be phoenixed by that point.

"phoenixed" ... that's me, makin' up words to sound as hip as Buffy!

I'll double resurrect it!!! All the way!

Okay, well if Amadeus doesn't need it, just work down my ten until something sticks.

The fact that Die Hard is still up in the air worries me. There's about 25 unseen films out there I'm very interested by, and it's almost impossible to choose non-arbitrarily at this point, so consider this tentative.

1. The Right Stuff
2. Down by Law
3. House of Games (unseen)
4. Model (unseen)
5. Runaway Train (unseen)
6. King of Comedy (unseen)
7. Good Morning, Vietnam
8. Let's Get Lost (unseen)
9. Mystery Train (unseen)
10. The Empire Strikes Back
