Top 5 All Time Favorites That Give Your List Personal Charm
« on: September 19, 2010, 10:21:25 AM »
When I submitted my Top 100 ballot, I combed through for films I thought would only appear on my list.  In other words, a wasted vote.

Inspired by my ballot and Bondo's Post, what are your Top 5 Favorite Films you believe only appear on your Top 100?  The 5 that make your list unique.

Here's Mine.
1. The 4th Man
2. The Ninth Configuration
3. Dawn of the Dead
4. 48 Hrs.
5. The Big Easy

These may appear on one other list, but I'm not even sure of that,

1) Letters From Iwo Jima
2) Finding Neverland
3) Eastern Promises
4) Crash (1996, aka the good one)
5) Marty

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

You need 3 more.  May I suggest...

Ostrov (The Island)
Babette's Feast
Huozhe (To Live/Lifetimes)

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
This was quite high on my list.  I hope we weren't the only 2.

I'm fairly sure these have appeared on other people's lists.

The Great Dictator (If only for it's placement, and not exclusivity)
Songs from the Second Floor
Sonatine / A Scene at the Sea (although 1SO might have me covered there)
Les enfants terribles
X-Men 2 (This was a late "I can't fool myself" entry)
