IMDb. IMDb. Christ, I hate the IMDb redesign.
Login to your imdb account (or create one, easy as pie, like I just did) and click on "Update your site preferences" and select "Show previous title and name page design (reference view)"

Not that it means a lot to you, but she is insanely hot in this movie.

Uh, no, that does mean a lot to me Clovis. I'd say "queued!," but it's not available on Netflix right now. But I'mma keep an eye on it.

;D

IMO, it is the second best Atom Egoyan film after The Sweet Hereafter.

I was partial to Mia Kirshner in Love and Human Remains when I saw it recently and too was like "wait, this movie is like 20 years old and she's an adult..." Curious that.

MartinTeller, thank you. I'm really thrilled you suggested I watch An Actor's Revenge.

What a mesmerising film. Not something that I would ever have chosen to watch, but I would have missed something had I not!

A tale of revenge, and more; Ichikawa conjured up an intricate visual feast. I loved the way the old and new was melded; the acting throughout was superb and the music was brilliant. The colour, the stylised movement and the overall feel were just intoxicating. It reminded me a lot of Shakespeare, especially in its mutterings.

I had to get up to answer the door and I was so peed off that I had been interrupted   >:(

1 hour and 48 minutes well-spent. Have just ordered Kokoro and Alone Across The Pacific.
Unfortunately The Burmese Harp and Fires On The Plain not available as yet...

AATP is a very different kind of film.  I was a bit disappointed, felt kind of average to me.  You might well like it, though.

I've not yet seen Kokoro, looking forward to your comments.
