L'âge d'or  (Luis Buñuel, 1930)

There's a really good ten minutes buried within the sixty-two minute running time, but I have too little interest in Buñuel nose-thumbing, revolutionary activism. The very best moment is the title card that concludes the promising scorpion documentary prologue. It's all downhill from there.

Grade: C-
