Twee retelling of THE GIVING TREE but with added sentimental romanticization of the sacrifice instead of the certain melancholic ambiguousness that makes the original story so universal and open-ended.

No objections as such. 35° is no fail in my books but merely an avarage grade. These emotions attributed to robots just felt a bit tacked on.
