Just not a fan, especially of his talkies.  I'm much more a Buster Keaton guy.  I might buy The Circus if and when Criterion releases it, though.

There are so many shorts early in his career that I had to limit it to the most popular ones.  Sorry if I've excluded your favorite.

My feelings on Chaplin are well known, a silent comedic genius who never should have made a talkie, his talkies aren't funny and I thought they were all subpar movies,

Masterwork
1) City Lights
2) The Gold Rush
Great
3) The Kid
4) Modern Times
Bad
5) The Great Dictator
6) Monsieur Verdoux
7) A King In New York

There's The Great Dictator, then there's the rest (much of which is still awesome).

I’ve lied to men who wear belts. I’ve lied to men who wear suspenders. But I’d never be so stupid as to lie to a man who wears both a belt and suspenders.
