Hard to disagree. Favorite is My Darling Clementine. So gentle.

Not trying to start a fight here, I just really, really don't like his work (especially with Wayne).  Also, Tobacco Road is one of the most irritating, awful movies I've ever seen.  However, The Searchers is probably #1 on my list of "Movies I Didn't Give a Fair Shake" and I intend to revisit it sometime soon.

Not a fan, though my appreciation of him is growing.  Voted for Young Mr. Lincoln.

Interesting that you left off Mister Roberts. I know he only co-directed because he was fired, but the stories of what led to that is one of the most interesting chapters in his career.  And the final film is still pretty good, mainly for the performances by the leads.

I just left off all the co-directeds and uncredited credits.  The final film isn't really anything like a John Ford film.  Still pretty good though.

I've only seen Young Mr. Lincoln, but I can say I liked it a lot.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

I can't believe I am the only vote for Liberty Valence, it is the greatest traditional western ever.
I’ve lied to men who wear belts. I’ve lied to men who wear suspenders. But I’d never be so stupid as to lie to a man who wears both a belt and suspenders.
