Last Hurrah for Chivalry is worth seeing if only for the fight scene with the Sleeping Wizard.

The Killer and Hard-Boiled introduced me to Woo.
His gun-fu style was inventive and exciting and Chow Yun Fat is a true movie star.
Asian dialogue never translates well into English - which makes his plots/dialogue seem clunky and cliched at times.
Their melodramatic flair and over the top sentimentality can be difficult for American audiences but I enjoy seeing the world through their eyes (at least Woo's artistic interpretation) and imagining the thought processes that went into it.
For that reason - Face/Off ranks high for me as well (an Asian interpretation of an American script) - plus all the scene-chewing goodness that Cage and Travolta brought to the screen playing each other was just pure fun.
Some of the groan worthy elements (Somewhere Over The Rainbow playing on headphones during a gunfight to calm a child)) were so out there that I had to just go with it - the experience just became fun instead of applying a critical eye.
Hey, nice marmot!
