Summer Hours, then Carlos, which I'm already feeling the need to see again three months on.

Missed the chance to see Irma Vep a while back, and can't wait to catch up with it.

See Les Vampires before watching Irma Vep.  I saw Irma Vep first and I think it would have been more fun (and meaningful) the other way around.

like how be dabbles in different genres, but I only like Irma Vep, only one with decent acting, for the subject matter, Assayas ain't particular subversive, a poor man's Briellat or Noe even of French New Extremity, I get why someone would like all his work in-spite of popular opinion of some, as with Francois Ozon, though does anybody here think he's better than a contemporary like Ozon?

I have no idea what Assayas has to do with Noe or Breillat.

Or Ozon.  Or Extremity.  Whatever that means.

I've been noticing that your posts are extremely arrogant and confrontational (also loaded with typos and errors).  Maybe you should try not being a douchebag.

Didn't love Irma Vep or Summer Hours enough to vote for either.

Carlos, 2nd best film of the year on Meta? Mesrine/Che r better, and what's with Summer Hours, you're right pixote.

There is a film similar to Irma Vep, with Jean Pierr Leaud as a director, The Pornographers, you'd think Olivier made that silly film instead of something solid with Irma.
