1. Napoleon
2. La Roue

Napoleon is a stunning, mind-blowing achievement, one of the few silents in my top 100.  I still need to check out J'Accuse.

Don't worry about it Melissa, yes, I will be calling you that now, I'm super weird about having to call people by their actual first name once I learn it :) Anyways, I like to think of myself as a guy who has seen a nice variety of films, but there's still a ton I haven't seen, and I think that is true for all of us. So plenty of "Haven't seen any's" will be supplied by all of Filmspotting. :)

Yep, mostly, these polls will just be great bookmarks of all the films and directors I want to catch up with someday. And the polls gave me the final push to catch with a little Ozu!  I just finished Tokyo Story, and it's going to be shoving another film out in my top 100 - beautifully paced and heart-breaking - I loved it.

The two-thirds of Napoleon I've seen is enough for me to vote for it.

Heh, I've seen all of Napoleon but am tempted to vote for La Roue based on the fifteen minutes I've seen.
