I am sorry guys but you need to be Russian to truly understand how awful this "director" is.  All the actors mumble and talk over each other so you can only pick up snippets of conversation, the subtitles make the dialogue clearer by picking and choosing what to translate and by liberating it from the background noise.  Russian is a very tough language, but you should all learn it just to appreciate the awfulness of these films.

Sounds like Robert Altman. . . .

Good to know I should avoid this guy then...

Oh hey, I actually know this one !

Faust all the way. The movie is gorgeous, even if what is going on screen flies right by you. Which, you know, it didn't for me...not completely I mean...I mean I understood some things...I think...

Among the most distinct, diverse, and idiosyncratic that I've ever encountered. Creates films as if from another dimension. The second time I watched Mother and Son it went from something I didn't connect with at all to one of the most important films I'd ever seen. This is a wavelength I want to be on, however impossible it may seem.

Days of Eclipse
Mother and Son

The Second Circle
Whispering Pages
Mournful Unconcern
The Lonely Human Voice
Moloch
Father and Son
Russian Ark

Mariya
Elegy of a Voyage
