BTW, like ok did above, I want to encourage that people, even if you don't have a list put together (planning to do so or not) to feel free to throw out documentaries that you want in the discussion (and on the FYC list).

I those more as films than episodes of a tv show. Only a few would make my list, but still.

I have two episodes of PBS Frontline on my list, so yes. I'm going to trust the wisdom of the masses to determine what a documentary is. I draw a line at things not appearing on imdb.
