Just wondering, what would it be like for some people if there was a word count of say, oooh, 100 words, per post. Eh?

My next 4 reviews are 311, 177, 306 and 402 words long respectively. So my answer to your proposal is a rude word. ;D
If you bring that sentence in for a fitting, I can have it shortened by Wednesday. Hawkeye, M*A*S*H

Most of the time I browse this forum from work and stay on top of it pretty easily.  When I take a day off and am doing my own thing*, it's amazing how fast the new posts seem to pile up.  It's daunting to log in and see 50 threads with new posts!

Lately, roujin, worm, matt, flieger, and pixote haven't been posting as much as they used to.  :'(

I have a three year Harper's backlog

I cancelled my subscription to Harper's like 12 years ago because they just kept accumulating.  Same thing happened with The New Yorker.  Curse you, periodicals!

My key to keeping up with magazines is realizing I don't have to read every article. The Economist in particular would overwhelm me if I didn't get into the habit of reading the Leaders and then skimming most of the articles for things that strike my fancy.

I stupidly went and got a grown-up job - they make me start before 10! - but my forum commitment remains strong.
