I've noticed this before as well but sometimes wondering if the album might have slipped but it would be very difficult to reschedule concerts that were already booked.  I like to be at least a bit familiar with the music before a concert.

Same. I went to a New Pornographers concert before I was a fan and while I had listened through Challengers before, while at the concert (which was great), half of me was wanting to be home listening to the album more. Being familiar with it allows you to appreciate the live performance more.

This is what I always tell my buddy when he is trying to get me to go see bands I've never heard.

To be fair, I have been introduced to a few bands solely on the basis of being blown away by seeing them live.

Please, we need something to talk about other than each other.  Our navels can't take this gazing much longer!

Happy Pi Day, everyone!! I'll be having apple later today- what about you? Last year I doubled down and also made my first ever chicken pot pie, but this year I'm trying to keep it slightly healthier (and in a competition with apple, chicken pot, yummy as it is, is a distant second).
