Truly Madly Deeply is in my Top 100. Overdue for a rewatch, though.

I'm the anti-Elaine: the only one around here who loves The English Patient.

I appreciate the tehnical artistry but on the whole it didn't do much for me.

I was saddened by his death, not just because he always came across as such a great bloke and it was bloody tragic and unfair, but from a film perspective, I haven't liked any of them. I always wanted to because they are so brilliant, if that makes any sense. It was only a matter of time before I would be able to say I saw an Anthony Minghella film and really liked it. Huge loss to cinema in several ways.

I voted for No.1 Ladies Detective Agency because although it was a low-key TV piece, I could get into the story much better and he showed such a delicate touch for such things.
