Education, there aren't girls in A Single Man.
I feel like I may be too lazy for this.

Do I want to finish this? It's disappointing me. It's formulaic. And do I believe Colin Farrell as a country singer? Do I not.lol. no, its exactly as lame and formulaic as you think it will be. Watch the performance scene though for that song. CF rocks there. Well I did finish it and why did Bad think that a 25 something is going to have an enduring interest in a perpetually drunk, fat, fag-end man who talks like he has a pebble in his mouth and really was just reprising his Dudeness and Colin Farrell was OK singing but I was still looking for the wig-join whilst he was onscreen and why was there a big fanfare for this film as it ain't all that.I thought Farrell was great, but I do agree with all your other complaints. Still, I somehow really enjoyed the movie. Didn't you like the singing/song bits in the least little bit? Bridges really pulled those off brilliantly, I thought.
