I do have Amazon and Netflix because of mooching off parents but I don't really like either service's library all that much and year by year I find less and less movies I want to see on their services. Kanopy looks like it has a lot of older films which is what I am looking for in a streaming service.

And before someone says it, Filmstruck does not look like it's worth my money yet. Needs to drop flash for web or add PS4 or Switch support. Also hear it still has a lot of technical issues.

I'm still on the fence for Filmstruck too, just not sure I'd use it all that much. I kick around the idea of Hulu, but just can't do that either. I feel like the Amazon selection is super strong, but does skew recent. Netflix I've been watching more of, but their originals are inconsistent and they lean more TV. The thing with Filmstruck is the lack of PS4 support, though I think my Roku TV will support it, but not sure I'll jump in.

Switch support.

Wait, the Switch can do video streaming apps? Did not realize that was part of the value proposition when I bought mine.

Well, it can do Hulu right now so it stands to reason that Amazon and Netflix will follow soon and once that opens, I think lots of other streaming services will try to step up to compete. But given Filmstruck's expediency, I'm guessing the chances of it hitting Switch are low. A man can dream.
