What should I watch?
« on: January 03, 2011, 02:30:21 AM »
Often enough I'll have a couple films on hand and I can't easily decide which one to watch.  It happened a couple hours ago and it is happening again (probably because I should have went to the video store for something I was really in the mood for, but just too lazy to do that).  Anyway, I thought I'd start a new thread for hopelessly indecisive folks like me, or at least people that are sometimes stuck with indecision, to flop out options (though of course this practice happens here and there form time to time).  Maybe try to give something more tangible than "because it rawks" when offering your push.
I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

Let's assume it's more up your alley than Duck Season.

Now that I've seen Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, I can confidently say it is a terrific trilogy on the whole. So, if there is an installment of that series you haven't seen, get on it.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

If you like experimental cinema, Enter The Void. If you like George Clooney, The American. I can't say more as I haven't watched any yet though I plan to watch both. Will definitely watch Enter The Void. It seems a very different film and I love different kinds of films, so I won't miss it no matter what. I may or may not watch The American though I want to. George Clooney hasn't ever failed me. There are loads of other films I want to watch.

I'd go with The American. It's slow, but not a complete bore and it's nice to look at.

Actually, liking that movie is an unpopular opinion of mine. I don't think anyone else but I liked it.
