So, the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival is next month, and I just got tickets to:

Incendies
Cave of Forgotten Dreams
The Adjustment Bureau
Poetry
Bridge on the River Kwai
And the surprise film

I can't make it to either Outrage ( :'() or Route Irish, so barring those, are there any other movies in the lineup which people would recommend me going to see?
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

That's so awesome, 'Noke! Although I have to give the obligatory:

I can't make it to Outrage ( :'()

Nooooo!

But really, that's an awesome sounding line-up. I looked through the rest of the list, and you're already pretty much seeing the ones I am interested in (most of the rest I haven't even heard of). There's some other really interesting sounding selections in there though, if nothing else you should try and see one or two just based on how much the synopsis grabs you. Blind discoveries! :)

If it was me, Cave of Forgotten Dreams.  Can't pass up on Herzog.

Good call on Cave and Bridge.

As for other films...
-The African Queen- if you haven't seen it.
-Adele Blanc- not sure if it's any good, but I've heard it described as Luc Besson's take on a female Indiana Jones.
-Julia's Eyes- it's from one of Guillermo Del Toro's proteges (so to speak) and last time he produced a movie and championed its director we got The Orphanage, so I'd see it.
-The Eagle- I'll be seeing it in theaters and I've yet to see a Kevin Macdonald film I haven't liked (One Day in September, Touching the Void, The Last King of Scotland, State of Play).

Just flipping though, these stood out:

Le Amiche (Antonioni)
Lola (Mendoza)
The Housemaid (Im)
Chaos (Tavianis)
Potiche (Ozon)
The End of Cinema

Seattle Screen Scene

Balibo got good reviews in Oz in 09, but I'm yet to see it, and it's probably pretty easy to find outside of the fest.
The Tempest is one I'm desperate to see, but release isn't far off.
Lola is interesting, but I didn't love it.

Nostalgia for the Light is an interesting concept, and kinda beautiful in a small, quiet way, but if the writeup doesn't strike you, it's probably not worth it.

Besides the stuff already I mentioned, I would go to:

Bellissima (Visconti)
Essential Killing (Skolimowski)
The Robber (Heisenberg)
A River Called Titas (Ghatak)

If you're free of distraction, go for the Void.  If not, The Way Home.
