I would really like to lobby for extending the deadline to end of February, but I know I'm still new here and I don't want to break any traditions.  Just seems like people ought to have a little more time to catch up.

You'll have all of February to catch up on the nominated films.

I'll get the priority viewing rankings up in a little bit.

A Town Called Panic - In contention in two categories
Animal Kingdom - In contention in six categories
Carlos - In contention in two categories
Catfish - In contention in one category
Enter the Void - In contention in three or four categories
Exit Through the Gift Shop - In contention in three of four categories
I Love You Phillip Morris - Not quite in contention yet
Monsters - In contention in one category
Robin Hood - Not yet in contention
Summer Wars - In contention in two or three categories
Uncle Boonmee - Not yet in contention
Winter's Bone - In contention in about eight categories

For MartinTeller:

Dogtooth - In contention in five or six categories
The Social Network - In contention in like ten categories
The Town  - In contention in one or two categories
The King's Speech - In contention in like ten categories
True Grit - In contention in like ten categories
Toy Story 3 - In contention in six or seven categories

Not sure how much that helps, but...

If I do not like Michael Haneke or Lars von Trier, should I bother to watch Dogtooth or Enter the Void?

I think Dogtooth is interesting. As for the Dogtooth vs. Haneke debate, Sicinski sums up my thoughts except he's actually articulate and stuff.

You can skip Enter the Void imo.

That doesn't sound like something I'd like at all.

Right :). Am pretty sure you won't enjoy Enter the Void. That one is just boring.
