@Ferris: I've seen Exit through the gift shop and I loved, loved, loved it. So entertaining!

My problem was that I couldn't stop watching, and go to sleep as I should since it was so late. Not sure if my incoming review can persuade you to get back to it. If you stopped watching it I suppose there must have been something in it that didn't click with you, so maybe it's futile. All I know is that it worked for me, which is a bit unexpected because I know nothing about street art and graffiti and had never heard of that Banksy guy before I saw it.

Next Friday I anticipate having decisions to make. Help make them easier by selecting the two films I should probably see. Ideally you can give me a reasoning as well  :)

Attack the Block!
The Future
Contagion

Contagion

Soderbergh.

That reason is 10 years old. Doesn't hold the cache it once did.

Che and The Girlfriend Experience say otherwise.

I really liked The Informant! as well. I don't like Out of Sight very much either, though I do own it on VHS.

That's 2-3 out of 10 in the last 10 years. I liked Ocean's 11 myself, but I'm saying he's batting under .500 since Traffic

2009 The Informant!
2009 The Girlfriend Experience
2008 Che
2007 Ocean's Thirteen
2006 The Good German
2005 Bubble
2004 Ocean's Twelve
2002 Solaris
2002 Full Frontal
2001 Ocean's Eleven

Since I know somebody is itching to do it, who will come forward and say that at least 5 of these films are well directed? (Perhaps color-coded rankings?)

You missed one.

2002 Solaris
2010 And Everything Is Going Fine
2005 Bubble
2009 The Girlfriend Experience
2007 Ocean's Thirteen

2001 Ocean's Eleven
2009 The Informant!

2006 The Good German
2004 Ocean's Twelve

haven't seen Che (started watching it, wasn't that into it) or Full Frontal (haven't heard good things).

While those bottom two are my least favorite Soderberghs, the top two are my favorites (and Bubble is tied with Schizopolis and Limey for 3rd).  I'd call this at least .500, and certainly not a significant drop-off in quality from the 1990's.

Okay, so I can understand Martin being excited for Contagion because it's Soderbergh.

I'd never heard of And Everything Is Going Fine, so I assumed it was a video or short. Should've clicked the link.

Out of Sight and Che are good.

That is all.
