I have a rare Monday off and am thinking of hopping to the cinema, something I haven't done in a couple of weeks.

Moneyball
Malencholia
The Skin I Live in
The Descendants

-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

I have yet to see The Skin I Live In, but that is supposed to be really good. I greatly enjoyed the other 3, if I had to rank them...

1. The Descendants
2. Melancholia
3. Moneyball

Batman: Year One
The Art of Getting By

Batman: Year One and The Art of Getting By were two I wanted to see.

I haven't seen the others, but Melancholia on the big screen must be stunning.  I've seen it only on demand but definitely want to go when it hits our cinema here.  And on the podcast, Rian Johnson said it's a must on the big screen.

I've only seen Melancholia of those movies, but I can testify that it was quite an experience. It is visually stunning and I think it's one of those movies that gains a lot if you watch it on a big screen, if nothing else for the magnificent end scene.

Grab the chance!

I've only seen Melancholia on the big screen, but aside from the opening and closing, I'm not really sure there's too much else about it that makes it an essential big screen experience. I would have rather had the chance to see Antichrist on the big screen because that's a more visually striking film.

However, the answer to the question is most certainly Melancholia.
