I would say Amour but since you have the chance to go watch it, then Cosmopolis is of more interest but I hadn't seen it or WH

The Last Stand or Mama?

I have been leaning The Last Stand all week, but there is some decent buzz about Mama too, and it has Jessica Chastain in it. Figured I would put it up for debate amongst everyone.

I'm interested in both, which must be a first so early in the year. Go with Mama, the Chastain is strong with that one.

Because Kim Jee-woon is no John Woo.

That, plus Kim Jee-woon, who is not now what John Woo was back in the 90s, but he's far superior to Woo today and will probably have a longer lasting career. Even though I think this will be KJW's worst film but is such a strange hybrid it might be of interest.

Because Kim Jee-woon is no John Woo.

You mean that as a big plus, correct?
