I think 2 is the weakest, but that to me doesn't mean much. It's still great. Sadler is just not a compelling villain like all the other movies have.

Considering trying the 4.5 hr Mysteries of Lisbon tonight. Good idea? Is there a logical break point if I choose to break it in two?

Yes, there's an intermission in there, I'm pretty sure. Or when you get it, it'll be on two disks and there's a clear break inbetween disks.

There should be an obvious break about two and a half hours in, if my memory serves.  The film has pretty obvious chunks and takes place over a number of years, so title cards come maybe every 30 mins or so, therefore you could even make your own intermission.

Considering doing all the Oscar nominated shorts tomorrow (Doc, Animated, Live Action). It would be an all day affair. Has anyone ever done this, or is it something anyone would recommend?

Pass on Doc if possible  :P

These are running in Philly right now, not sure for how much longer. I would like to go one year, but don't think I'll be making it this one.

I usually do both the live and ani's in the same day (they start here tomorrow as well). The doc program isn't usually shown at the same theater. check on the program length though. The Ani's last year were short enough that they added like 4 or 5 extra shorts to fill out the program length and even then it came in under 2hrs, which will most likely happen again given that the combined length of all but Adam and Dog (no time listed on IMDB) is 25m.

The doc's in general are usually longer so that may be anywhere between a 2 and 4 hour program.
