So I have to get my new tires installed, probably on Monday, at Costco. The Costco is next door to a multiplex, so I plan to do what I did five years ago (Hancock!) and go to a movie while I wait for the truck. Unfortunately, the pickings are rather slim this time, especially since I've already seen the movies that I had any interest in (42, The Company You Keep, Oblivion, Oz).
Help!
The Big Wedding ... I have no idea what this is but it looks terrible. Also: Robin Williams is a deal-breaker.
The Croods ... saw the trailer twice; looks kind of painfully banal.
Evil Dead
Filly Brown ... "an inspiring and gritty portrait of a young artist's striving to find her voice and seize her dreams without compromise" ... there are several huge red flags there.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation 3D
Jurassic Park 3D ... I don't need to see this for the sixth time, extra dimension or no.
Olympus Has Fallen
Pain & Gain ... yeah, right.
Scary Movie V ... see above.
By process of elimination, it looks like I'm leaning toward gore or explosions. But I'll entertain suggestions.
