My plan for tomorrow is to try to hit the 10 a.m. showing of Nymphomaniac and then scoot over to a nearby cinema to see the 1:20 p.m. showing of Enemy, maybe with a quick lunch in-between. Assuming I still want to eat.
My TV ain't HD / that's too real

Today I'm either going to cross one of my Shame List (films I keep meaning to get round to but never do) or watch something I've been looking forward to for a while.

So shall I watch one of the following:
The Usual Suspects
The Guard
Trainspotting
Snatch
Westworld
Mimic
Senna
Before Sunrise

OR watch the DVD of Mamoru Hosada's Wolf Children I have rented atm.

Looks like FLY is potentially getting CINECAST!ed, but not in the good way. Generally on my website sources, I am able to discern when a film that is playing in Skrilladelphia will be ending its run, as the picture is generally labeled the week it will end. As such, I was fine because there was no indication that Nymphomaniac Volume I would be ending tomorrow, so theoretically this weekend I could watch the film as intended: four hours of LVT with a short intermission.

But now it has disappeared for Friday, replaced by Volume II. Obviously I want to see these films on the big screen, but it seems silly to make the trip just for Volume II if I settle for Volume I on the small screen. Maybe the last theater that only has The Shining listed as playing on Friday at midnight will update and NVI will be there, but at this point I'm not counting on it.

So the question is: worth seeing Volume II on the big screen with at least a day between the two films, or just watch them both at home back to back and curse myself for not CINECAST!ing doing that a while ago if that's how that shit was going to end anyway?

You know anything about this Patema Inverted film? I'm unfamiliar with the director, but any time I have the chance to see an anime film on the big screen I'm inclined to take it. It's a one day only showing, wondering if it's worth the trip.

That is my key point of interest in seeing that film, but Binoche is going head to head with the starting squad of #TeamEmma. Tough choices!
