I'm 25 weeks pregnant and have been on couch rest since 20 weeks. I had cerclage surgery at 21 weeks, and I'll be resting until the baby comes out. What is couch rest? I'm allowed to sit on a couch/chair and get up to go to the bathroom/doctor's appointments and really nothing else.

It seems like this would be a great time to binge on movies, and I have watched some, but my mom has come to stay with us (in our 600 sq ft one bedroom apartment) to help take care of me (I'm grateful!), and she's like the most innocent person alive, and 95% of my 2018 catch-up list is rated R.

Mainly we're watching a lot of Great British Bake Off. This is my 3rd watch through.

We can't get enough Bake Off around here. We haven't rewatched any of it, but we binged through all of it, and then the Australian and Kiwi versions, then the two "Creme de la Creme" seasons, and are currently watching Bake Off Professionals (which is what "Creme de la Creme" morphed into). We've also got the Irish and South African versions on deck.

Wonderful baby news, tinyholidays! Rest as much as possible. And quoting Sam:

What an ordeal!  I'm talking about watching Bake Off the third time.  Of course, I don't know if it is physically/mentally possible for me to sit on a couch for weeks.  That must be terribly hard.

Good luck!  That must be quite the transition!

Getting overwhelmed by the amount of unread books in my life much like my unwatched dvd’s and blu-rays.

I take this stuff too personally.

I get stressed out if I’m not on track to meet my goodreads yearly challenge.

Is it just me...?

I've both used books, sat them on my shelf for years, and then given them away. ::) I'm bad at sitting down and reading.
