Yikes, don't think I'll get much watched in 10 days. Really haven't seen enough this year to feel good about filling out a ballot

Same here.  I tend to play catch-up when the Oscar nominees get announced.  I wish I could participate, but there's no way I can watch many 2010 movies before the end of the month.  Well, I could if I got really frantic about it, but I've got a lot of other stuff on my plate at the moment.

If there's one nominee that you're particularly passionate about (whether it be a film or performance or whatever), it's worth submitting a ballot, even if that one nominee is the only thing on it.

Unless I find a bunch of gems in the next ten days, my own ballot is going to be really, really sparse.

Looking at potentially getting a 35mm prime lens for my birthday. Since I'm taking pictures of people now and all that jazz.

(The drinking thread is gone - so just gonna put this here)

Trying my first absinthe - I generally like the black licorice taste. Though I feel a little strange drinking something so "gothic."

We went on a school trip to Prague once and me and some friends got drunk real bad on Absinthe. I lost my passport in the taxi that night but luckily I had given the driver a €50 tip and he returned it to the hotel the next day.
I still love the Green Fairy though.

Dinner, then concert time. I'm taping the Steelers game so don't tell me what happens!

The Steelers, that's a country music group, right?
