At The Wheeler Centre to listen to people talk about David Foster Wallace. Yay!
This was pretty great. Six speakers read various excerpts from Wallace's work. Two from The Pale King, one from Consider the Lobster, one from Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, one from Oblivion and the last read 'This is Water'.

Nam Le, who read from Good Old Neon, from Oblivion (which I haven't read) just seemed to choose the most magic passages, and had such a beautiful reading voice.

I want to get a tattoo that is simply 'w/r/t'. I think there would be many things worse than being reminded of David Foster Wallace every day.

Sitting during one of those awkward 40-minute breaks in between classes, unsure what to really do. So... filmspotting!

Recovering from a 32 hour day and a 13 hour sleep coma.

My sleep schedule is gonna be all sorts of wacky.

Recovering from ... coma.

Was Sandra Bullock waiting for you wait you came to?

Looking forward to teaching Poe in my American lit class today.  Hurrah for chills, thrills, madness and creepy narrators!
