Making some "Wu Liang Hong Mao Feng" Yunnan black tea.

Oddly, I'm pretty sure that was one of the answers on last night's Wheel of Fortune.
Kevin: Yes, why does there have to be evil?

Supreme Being: I think it has something to do with free will.

Verna: I suppose you think you raised hell.

Tom: Sister, when I've raised hell you'll know it.

Diminishing returns for all involved.

Creating the end of year exam - i have decided to go multiple choice for the main section (usually it is all short answers and some short essays) - it will save me at least 20 minutes in marking time per paper - which will save me 20 hours of solid marking!

I'm here working on a midterm paper while wishing you were my teacher and I had a multiple choice test instead.

I lost my job today, and believe me, it was such a low impact trauma, I can hardly feel it already. The reason for mentioning it then? I phoned a mate who used to be my boss there and told him how much I had enjoyed working for him..a proper boss.

Within about an hour I got a call from an agency. The guy said "some of my friends" had been in touch and they had told him to look after me. He said he was rammed with work and if I came in tomorrow he would get me working by Monday.

There are glib and obvious things I could say about this; about staying honest and positive and keeping your friends close, but I don't really need to. A bad experience turned into a really good day. Love it!
