Living life 28 seconds at a time.

LMAO I came here just to make a post just like this. Is this the new normal?

Reducing my inbox to 0 for the first time in forever. I use lots of folders/reminders to usually keep it in the single digits but today I finally just said screw it and went through every last thing. Feels good.

Oh man, kudos to you. I have 8K+ on my work email and like 6K+ on my personal. No motivation. I'm really just going to delete everything.

I was going to respond but you are worst, how many are unread?

Oh, those are the unread ones. There are more, I suppose, that I've read.

I took Sam as having 0 emails, not 0 unread meaning everything was filed or deleted.  I can have 5000 emails, maybe 2500 unread though many are part of a chain so i read the latest. I need to manage it better as I do miss some important ones though I skip most of the noise.  Threaded doesn’t work well as you sometimes have a split from the thread but then it becomes difficult to manage. We are always trying to find alternatives to get us out of email..

Yes, everything is either filed in a folder, archived, or deleted. I've spent time before going through thousands of old emails and throwing them in folders or deleting them.

I can't stand unread email. I read them immediately, and file or delete them immediately. At work it's a little different, I might wait to file them and then do a big batch. Still, I have 0 unread messages and maybe 150 in my work inbox.
