I finished Up the Down Staircase earlier tonight. About to start in on A Home at the End of the World.

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

Luna by Julie Anne Peters

I've liked the other two JAP books I've read...teen chick lit about cliques and lesbian dalliances and the like (the latter somewhat similar to CINECAST!ing Amal really). This one is focused on girl whose brother is transgender (and thus her sister). I'm about 1/3 in and I think Twilight has ruined other teen chick lit for me. Say what you will about Twilight, it is an epic and instant classic of the genre. The gender stuff is fine but listening to the protagonist stress about boys and such is painful in comparison to Twilight.

Just finished Holidays on Ice, my first try with David Sedaris. Some essays work better than others. Despite inconsistency the good was enough to keep me on board if people think its worth it. Whats his best book?

currently reading The Insanity Defense, a collection of Getting Even, Without Feathers, and Side Effects by Woody Allen. (trying to read 50 books in '11, so Ill count this as 3  ;))

Working on Room right now. I'm reminded of The Curious Case of the Dog in the Night Time, but harder to get into.

Picked this up during Boxing week. The store already offered 30% off hard covers and I had a 25$ gift. I didn't pay a dime, ha ha!
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.
