Ritchie, Michael

1. Fletch
2. The Golden Child
3. Downhill Racer

4. Wildcats
5. Fletch Lives

Golden Child is something of a guilty pleasure.  Bad News Bears is one of those cultural touchstones that I feel like I've seen even though I haven't.

2. Fletch
3. Cops and Robbersons
4. The Bad News Bears

The Candidate is the only one of those I genuinely liked. I know I saw The Golden Child and Fletch Lives when I was a kid but I don’t remember either of them.

1. Diggstown

I was digging through Lou Gossett Jr's filmography and came across this film, then the director Michael Ritchie, and then this thread. Surprised to find this thread exists, and intrigued to see Diggstown as your #1. :)

Yeah, but you can see by the color I'm not much of a fan of Michael Ritchie. Diggstown was more interesting, more complex than Ritchie's usual fare and as entertaining as his best work. Though, I don't know how easy it is to watch James Woods anymore.

Word. Unless maybe he's playing an awful character who you hate anyways (Casino, Any Given Sunday).
