Went to see this Korean blockbuster yesterday and was sadly dissapointed.

The trailers for this film have been excellent, making it seem like a fun monster movie, and it is for about 20 minutes.  But to much effort to tell a story just takes time away from the monster itself, and all the carnage I had been expecting was done in a cheat fashion.  Whenever a person is chased down by the beast and eaten its done behind a car, or a wal, or another obstruction.  Barely any blood, so there is barely any worth in seeing this.

I wanted bodies ripped apart, decapitations, showers of gore to laugh at, and sadly only got 1 decent kill and its still behind some bushes.

There are moments of cool monster movie stuff, namely the first big attack, but after that its just tedious.  The digital effects, supplied by The Orphanage are way better than I expected.  Save some really terrible fire, the monster is believable due to a good bled of practical monster prosthetics and CGI.

Over all worth only a rental.
