That's a fun list, even if I would argue that Suicide Squad shouldn't be on the "best" list of anything.

Suicide Squad shouldn't be on lists at all. We should all just forget it happened and erase its every mention from the internet.

Good list. Was able to add Summer 1993, Never Goin' Back, and Slice to my Amazon Prime cue.

Cahiers 2018

Lol, last year's Spielberg instead of this year's Godard has to be some kind of statement, especially since the film otherwise doesn't fit into the list at all.

The Wild Boys is definitely something to see for it's sheer weirdness, although it isn't anywhere near the top of my list. Coincoin is more Quinquin from Dumont, this time with aliens - very enjoyable. Of the ones I haven't seen, I'm looking forward the most to Leto, although that's mainly for nostalgic reasons, and of course one can't help the curiosity about the latest Von Trier.

Oh you crazy French film critics.  :P

One of my go-to lists each year is Nick Schager's Top 25. This year has a lot I need to see.
