Not nearly enough FYC's for Tree of Life in this thread!

Best scene (Dramatic):
Tree of Life - the boys chase their mother
Tree of Life - Jack is born
Tree of Life - dinner table confrontation

Best shot:
Tree of Life - face pressed into the curtain

I'll probably vote for this shot from Fish Tank. Dunno what to call it.

Seconded.

While it didn't make my ballot, it is a great scene.

Dramatic Scene

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - the bee in the car
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - Guilliam and the file (not sure how to describe that or if I should narrow it to a moment)
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - Guilliam and a personal sacrifice
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - Smiley and Connie
Some great ones here. The bee in the car is a single shot tho, and that's probably where it'll get my vote (not that it necessarily matters so few hours before the deadline).

It bothers me that I never FYC'd any of the great scenes from the first act of Super 8 here. "Train Station" got listed, but I really only wanted to vote for the first half of that scene - the filming. The arrival of the train is where things got less interesting. And I should have FYC'd Alice's audition and/or Zombie Alice (were those the same scene? I can't remember).

Oh well. My bad.
